What the GIF?! is a free party game. We may change, pause, or stop it at any time, and we may remove rooms, captions, or players to keep it working and welcoming.
You are responsible for the captions, names, and chat messages you submit. You keep ownership of what you write, but you give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it in the game and, for custom captions, to add it to the official deck for other players. Don't submit content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that you don't have the right to share. We may remove content or block players who break this rule.
Play fair and be kind to the other people in your room. Don't try to disrupt the service, scrape it, cheat the scoring, or access rooms you weren't invited to.
Signing in with Google is optional. If you do, Google's own terms apply to your Google account. Keep your devices secure; anything done from your session is your responsibility.
GIFs are loaded from third-party websites and belong to their respective owners. Embedded videos and advertisements are provided by third parties under their own terms.
The game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will be available, error-free, or that the captions will be funny.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us to use the game, which for a free game is nothing.

We may update these terms; the date above shows when. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator of the game is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
